Registration & Courses

Questions relating to course registration, Moodle and prerequisites.

What if I have registered for the wrong courses?

Use the Change of Courses Form which can be downloaded from the Students' page.

Fill in the courses you are dropping as well as those you are taking. Have the form signed by the Faculty Tutor and the Dean and submit a copy to Office T7 – Faculty Administrator.

Important: Courses dropped after the first two weeks of the beginning of lectures will not be refunded. Always ensure that you register for the correct courses each time.

I have difficulties submitting my assignment on Moodle. Who can I talk to?

You may visit the Cyber Zone at Luyengo Campus where the Technologists will gladly assist you.

I have dropped a course but I still see it in Moodle.

Courses are not removed from Moodle even when you have been de-registered.

To verify the courses you are registered for, check the "Enrolment Detail" or "Proof and Cost" in the registration portal.

These can be found under the Registration tab.

I am unable to register for a course because it requires a prerequisite.

Normally, a student will only be allowed to register for a course if the prerequisite course or courses have been taken and passed with a GP of 2.0.

Check your results and resit results to ensure that the prerequisite has been cleared.

If the prerequisite has been cleared but the issue persists, kindly visit or email the Faculty Administrator for assistance.

Fees, Registration & Results

Information for students experiencing registration blocks or delays in accessing results.

I have been "lifted" but I still can't get my results.

Normally, a student will be lifted from owing students by the Student Finance personnel on the campus.

Student Finance will then compile a list of non-owing students and send it to the Kwaluseni Campus Student Finance Office for verification.

After verification, the IT Office will be requested to upload the results to the Results Portal for your access.

Processing time: This process should take approximately 24 hours.

If you have been cleared but the issue persists, kindly email the Faculty Administrator for assistance.

Registration could not be completed for administrative reasons.

You may be unable to register because of one or more administrative reasons requiring you to contact the Student Finance Office on the Campus.

Possible reasons include:

  1. You may have outstanding fees.
  2. You may have settled your fees but the payment has not yet reflected.

If you have already paid: Visit the Student Finance Office with your proof of payment.

The Faculty Administrator may assist by linking you with Student Finance personnel, but does not personally "lift" students.

Student iEnabler says no admitted application is available for selection.
